Hello! I am Vanessa, the founder and lead specialist at V Scholars Academy.

My approach to education is simple: every student is capable of growth when they are met with the right strategy, patience, and understanding.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to supporting unique learners who need more than just standard classroom instruction. I specialize in working with school-aged students and young adults to build academic mastery, improve executive functioning, manage behavior, and develop independent living skills. I meet students exactly where they are to build the confidence and self-determination they need to thrive.

As a proud resident of the Killeen/Fort Hood area, I am passionate about serving my local community and providing dedicated, personalized support to families and students right here at home and in the surrounding Central Texas area.

My Expertise & Credentials

When you work with V Scholars Academy, you are partnering with an educator who deeply understands the connection between development, behavior, and learning:

• Certified Special Education (SPED) Teacher with full-time classroom experience.

• B.A. in Psychology & M.A. in Counseling (In Progress).

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Clinical Experience, specializing in positive behavior intervention and targeted behavior support.
